About Us

The Chartblue World Music Countdowns are compiled using various sources to tabulate a point system by which each song is assigned and ranked on a weekly basis. These sources include radio airplay and download statistics from various countries around the world, submissions by followers of Chartblue as well as the input of our panel of MusicExperts. These sources combined generate a point value that is assigned to each song on the countdown and ranked accordingly from #1 to #50. This structure allows not only for the best music to be featured on Chartblue, but allows us as well to assist in celebrating lesser known artists who are truly talented.
