Girls Aloud | Call The Shots |
This Weeks Chart Summary...
This week's Pureology Sure Shot belongs to the song that our panel of experts predicts will make it to the top of the charts! The title this week belongs to Girls Aloud's new single "Call The Shots"! On September 26, 2007, it was announced that Girls Aloud have made it into the Guinness Book of World Records 2008 for the "Most Consecutive Top Entries in the UK by a Female Group". Their record, of 15 top ten singles (up to "Walk this way"), beat Destiny's Child's previous record of 11, and the Spice Girls' record of 10.

This week's UK Park-and-Sell Hi-Riser belongs to the the single that climbed the highest number of spots on our chart, week over week.
This week the winner is McFly and their single "The Heart Never Lies" moving up an impressive 12 spots! The single is the first of their greatest hits album released this past November.

The Flick-Off Slider is the single that saw the greatest misfortune this week falling the most spots on the chart.
The honour, or dishonour this week belongs to Hinder's "Homecoming Queen". This Homecoming Queen is no "belle of the ball" since this is the second time in three weeks it has slide farther than any other song on the chart!
The O Travel Top Debut is the song that entered the chart in the highest position this week, and the title goes to Bon Jovi and LeAnn Rimes' new song "Until We Aren't Strangers Anymore". In an episode of 'Bon Jovi Unplugged', Jon Bon Jovi himself stated that he wanted a singer who could understand the lyrics, and almost gave up, saying, "he couldn't find anyone and went all the way through the process, and said "oh well" it's not gonna work out." until he found LeAnn.
The Rejuvenate Skin Care Centres Sneak Peak is the song that did not make the chart this week but our experts predict will be popping up in the debut column in the weeks to come. Our panel predicts that the new single "Hot Stuff" by Craig David will appear on the charts in the coming weeks.

The Greengood Farms Goodbyes honour the songs that fell-off the chart this week, undoubtedly into music oblivion... unless of course you check-out the archives section where their memory lives on forever. This week, we've said a Greengood Farms Goodbye to...
Hilary Duff - "Stranger"
Eve ft. Sean Paul - "Give It To You"
Nelly Furtado - "Do It"
Quietdrive - "Time After Time" and
Goo Goo Dolls - "Before It's Too Late"
